Create your account, add your products, and give each one a product type. Aleph matches product types to the compliance modules it covers, and every module starts off — you choose which ones to switch on.
Each product gets a checklist of the requirements for the regulations you turned on — FSVP, USDA dairy, CPSIA/CPC and GCC, Prop 65, REACH, MoCRA — each naming the regulation or statute behind it, so you can check it yourself.
Upload certificates and lab reports against the products they cover, record FSVP evaluations and Prop 65 warning decisions, file cosmetics safety substantiation documents for MoCRA, keep the APHIS import permit or vet certificate for an imported milk product, and keep PFAS test reports, supplier statements and UL, ETL or CSA listing certificates on the products they cover. Each checklist row shows what is still missing; whether a product complies stays your call.
Aleph emails you a digest when documents you’ve given an expiration date are coming due, and shows upcoming deadlines on your dashboard.
PFAS has no checklist in Aleph. PFAS test reports and supplier statements are uploaded as documents on the products they cover, with the same expiry alerts as any other document. UL has no checklist either: a listing is not a law Aleph checks, so its certificate is tracked for expiry, not counted.
